For complete registration you will have to provide a national identification card (scanned or photographed both sides) or passport (scanned or photographed) and a selfie where you are holding your submitted document.

Yes, companies can register. When registering select the option 'Company', fill in the form with the necessary information and upload the company registration certificate or extract from the company register.

Yes, you can. You have to send as your national identification card or passport and a valid residence permit of a country of the EEA. You need to have a personal bank account in European Union, Switzerland or any other country of the EEZ.

In accordance with the requirements of the Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing and the Requirements of the Financial and Capital Market Commission on Customer Due Diligence, DoFinance is required to perform identification and due diligence of its Investors.

Please be assured that all information and documents you submit to DoFinance in accordance with the Personal Data Processing Law and European Union Regulation No 2016/679 of 27.04.2016 is confidential and will not be disclosed to the third parties without legal basis.

All you need to set up an investor’s account is valid documents and a personal bank account in European Union, Switzerland or any other country of the EEZ, which is not included in the lists of high risk and non-cooperative jurisdictions or is not subject of international sanctions. Completing the setup involves adding funds to your investor`s account by transferring funds from your private bank account. Detailed information on how to add funds will be sent to you by e-mail after registration, or you can find payment details in your DoFinance account under ‘Summary’ – ‘Add more funds’.

It is simple! In registration process first you have to transfer funds (at least 10 euro) from your private bank account. Therefore, we will know to which bank account we have to transfer your requested withdrawals in the future. Also, you can transfer funds using money transferring tools like Transferwise or PaySera, however first payment you need to transfer from your private bank account (exception is Revolut, from which also the first payment is accepted). 

Do not forget to add the investor number in the payment description! You can find all the details about transfers in your DoFinance investor’s account under ‘Summary’ – ‘Add more funds’. 

Funds in an investor’s account belong to the investor and are held until the investor decides to invest it or take it out. After the end of investment, your funds will be in the status ‘Closed’. They will be available to you as soon as borrowers will make repayments and you will be able to withdraw or reinvest them.

There are no transfer fees within the DoFinance platform to set up an investor’s account or invest. Your bank or money transfer service provider may charge additional fees for transfers. Please consult your bank or money transfer service provider to identify any funds fees.

You can easily access your funds by logging in to your DoFinance profile. All available (not invested) funds can be transferred to your bank account at any time, however if there is a need to get available invested funds, you can sell loans in the secondary market. 

All investments at DoFinance are in euro. Therefore, transfers in euro can be carried out hassle-free. However, if you want to transfer other currencies to your investor’s account, you can use a money transfer service. We suggest using Transferwise, in order to reduce currency exchange risks + money transfer commissions.

There are 3 simple steps - register, add documents and add funds (at least 10 euro). When you have added funds in your investor's account, you can start investing. We recommend you to use some of DoFinance Auto Invest plans. The DoFinance automation tool creates an investment portfolio based on your preferred term, amount of funds and interest rate. There are no fees for investing.

There are no investment limits for individual investors. But in accordance with DoFinance Anti-money Laundering procedure, we will request some additional documents to investors who will exceed 10 000 euro and 50 000 EUR limits.

You can choose to invest in loans with a term ranging from 4 months up to 84 months.

Auto Invest is free of charge and easy-to-invest, easy-to-manage automation tool for diversifying your investment portfolio. Auto Investing means that an automated system is distributing invested funds through the existing and available loans for investment in the manner that ensures even and wide range of loans to minimize risk of concentration in few borrowers individual default risk. We recommend using Auto Invest if you invest bigger amounts as the system automatically divides the sum by 5-20 EUR into investments and invests in various loans. Profit interest rates in Auto Invest programs are 10% or 13%.

When your Auto Invest term is finished, your funds will no longer be reinvested, and your underlying loan assignments will be repaid according to their maturity dates together with their interest payments. With every repayment you will get your invested funds and plus the interests back into your investor’s account.

If you want to reinvest your funds, you need to choose a new Auto Invest plan, and your funds will be automatically reinvested in different loans until your Auto Invest term will be finished again. In any event Auto Invest algorithm does not constitute advice, investment recommendation, individual portfolio management services, or investment brokering on behalf of DoFinance or its group companies. Investors assume full liability for any investment decision made on the DoFinance platform.

 

By using Auto Invest you cannot change max invest per loan. We are splitting the investment by 5-20 EUR per loan.

A BuyBack is an option issued by the Loan Originator to the investor for a particular loan. It confirms that the Loan Originator can repurchase the loan from the investor if repayment of a particular loan is delayed 60 days. It is not an obligation, but a right that under normal market conditions the Loan Originator will execute.

Investment program with the status 'Closed' means that the due date of your investment program has arrived, however, the underlying loans are still active. Such investment is continuing to generate profit! We have separated specifically the investment with ‘Closed’ status in order to show the profit generated solely from such an amount, you can see it in your ‘Summary’ section.

Once the underlying loan amounts will be repaid and the funds from Loan Originators will be received, the respective amounts will show as 'Your Available Funds' in your profile and you will be able to reinvest or withdraw.

Investments with the status ‘Processing’ means that these invested funds do not have underlying loans. As soon as the system will have available new loans, your investment will be ‘Active’ again.

Yes, you can. By clicking on a specific investment, you can see the status of the assigned loan.

 • If assigned loan is completed and repaid, or completed and the BuyBack is applied, the status will be displayed as ‘Completed’;

 • If assigned loan is active, the status will be displayed as ‘Current’, ‘Internal collection’, ‘External collection’, ‘Court’ or ‘Bailiff collection’.

If the borrower has applied for an extension, the Assignment with the status ‘Late’ will change to the status ‘Current’.

• ‘Current’ – Loan is active and the due date has not arrived;

• ‘Internal collection’ – Loan collection is happening within the company of Loan Originator;

• ‘External collection’ – Loan collection is happening through professional debt-management companies;

• ‘Court’ – Delayed loan is submitted to the court;

• ‘Bailiff collection’ – Court process was successful and in case the borrower will receive salary or any other income, the respective amount will be transferred to the Bailiff account, then to Loan Originator, afterward to DoFinance.

BuyBack option is applied on the 60th day after the due date of loan as stipulated in the Assignment agreement. For example, the loan is given for 30 days: in case of loan delay for more than the agreed period, Loan Originator has the right to buy it back at the time when the delay of repayment exceeds 60 days. It is not an obligation, but a right that can be executed. If the investor invests in an Auto-Invest program, it might not even be noticeable as the funds will be reinvested in the new loans immediately.

The profit on your investment depends on your selected investment plan. Profit rates range from 10% up to 13% per annum.   

During the investment program you can find the amount of investment’s accumulated interest in the ‘Summary’ section.

You will receive monthly interest repayment, which means that every 30 days after the investment sign date, the investor automatically receives earned interest in his investor's account for all current loans and the respective amount will be able to withdraw or reinvest.

Yes, you can reinvest the earned interest.

If your plans have changed and you want to withdraw your funds you have an option to sell your assigned loans in the Secondary market.

In your loans list page, you can click the checkbox for every loan and mark the box designated for premium or discount with the percentage for which you want to sell the loan. If this box is left blank, then loan will be offered for sale at face value. 

After this action is done, your loans will be made available on the secondary market listing. Of course, you can change your mind and remove your offer for sale at any time before any other Investor has purchased the respective loan. Whenever any Investor will choose to buy the listed loans and will click the checkbox for purchase and confirm it, you will get credited for the respective amount and you will be able to withdraw received amount.

Please note, if you have active Auto Invest program, then after the specific loan is sold your Auto Invest program will decrease by respective amount.

After you have made a payout request, your withdrawal will be processed within 5 business days, according to the Agreement, however it depends on your bank and it can take up to two business days to receive the requested amount.

If the repayment of a loan is delayed for a period more than agreed in the Assignment Agreement (60 days), the Loan Originator can offer the BuyBack. This means that the Loan Originator can pay back to the investor principal and accrued interest of the delinquent loan, thereby decreasing the risk of you losing your money.

In any event of default Loan Originators are employing Debt Collection teams that are actively collecting all overdue liabilities from their borrowers and the tools used are ranging from sending reminder letters, posting defaulted customers information in the credit registers and as well in case of prolonged non-repayment proceed to court claims. Loan Originators are ensuring the collection process for every loan until it is collected, or the court approves borrower’s insolvency.

If the borrower repays the loan before the scheduled term in manual investment, your earned amount will be calculated according to the scheduled loan repayment date and transferred to your investor’s account. In addition, you will receive a notification email from us.

If the borrower repays the loan before the scheduled term within the Auto invest program, the repaid amount will be reinvested in a new available loan.

DoFinance does not tax accrued interest therefore investor receives full amount. In addition, regarding taxes – profits earned in DoFinance are tax object and by taking into account the legislation of the country where the investor is resident (for tax purpose perspective). Actions related with payment of taxes are on investor’s responsibility. We do provide account statement specifying the received interest for a particular time period.

The profit is calculated according to your selected investment program and term, which you are receiving each month for current loans.

In order to minimize the risks for investors Alfa Finance group has several security measures:

 1. Alfa Finance group investments in risk assessment tools has brought potential risks to minimum. Moreover, the Alfa Finance Group grants short-term consumer loans which also gives certain stability in the risk equation. Compared to long-term loans, it allows foreseeing trends much better. It is as simple – if there is a borrower who does not pay back on time, we can easily prevent it from happening again. Thanks to that, we instantly see irregularities, improve risk tools and score cards regularly, therefore minimizing potential risks.

 

 2. 10% of each loan amount invested by DoFinance investors remains in the balance sheet of the Alfa Finance Group.

 

For security reasons and to comply with data protection laws, we do not reveal the full names or addresses of end borrowers. Nevertheless Investor can see demographic data of each end Borrower.

DoFinance focuses on investing in short-term loans that can be issued to borrowers for different purposes – ranging from personal needs, like home improvement or wedding expenses to business needs, e.g. payment of invoices. 

 

If a loan is not repaid on time for more than agreed in Assignment Agreement (60 days), the Loan Originator can offer the BuyBack and can pay back to the investor the outstanding principal and accrued interest of the delinquent loan upon use of its right of BuyBack.

Yes, all investors are anonymous.

Alfa Finance Group team is doing its best to secure lending business as well as all investors' funds invested in DoFinance. 

Nevertheless investors are not protected by any financial compensation scheme, for example, scheme such as the depositor compensations scheme for clients of credit institutions or the protection of financial instrument market clients receiving services from a licensed investment service provider.

Currently DoFinance is on its way for Investment Brokerage Firm license acquisition, which will also represent more supervision by Latvian Financial and Capital Market Commission.   

DoFinance operates a segregated bank account that contains investors received money is used exclusively for payments to investors and/ or transfers to Loan Originators. No other transactions are made from these funds. All of the invested funds are linked back-to-back to actual loans as presented in your statement of accounts.
